Our primary location can be found on the corner of Madison and Eleventh Streets in Downtown Lynchburg. Our address is 1101 Madison Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504. From the Lynchburg Community Market turn on 12th Street heading south towards Dunbar School. Pass the Post office on your right. Madison Street is the 2nd street of the right. The entrance to the building is one block up (11th Street) on the left.
The cost of membership is $10 per child for the school and $10 for the summer. For families, the price is capped at $20 for each session. We are here to serve the youth of Greater Lynchburg. We do not depend on fees to pay for the Club's operating expenses. In order to keep our fees low, we ask for community, foundation and corporate support. We have an application process. Parents may come to the Club between the hours of 2:30- 7:00 pm to fill out the necessary forms. We are a Virginia State Licensed Child Care Facility. All the necessary forms are required for membership, which applies to our State License. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Birth Certificate
- Shot Records
- Medical Physical
- State Medical Application
- Club Application
It is up to the parents to keep us informed of any changes to the required documents (i.e. change of address, occupation, phone, etc.)

We serve all youth ages 6-18. The Madison Street location serves 6-12 and has a Teen Center for 13-18.
The Club is open during the school year 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm for ages 6-12 and 2:30 - 8:00 pm for teens Monday - Friday. During the summer and when school is closed the Club is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm for all ages.
During the school year members are dropped off after school by their parents or it is arranged by their parents for them to be dropped off on the school bus. Most of our members live within walking distance of the Club as well. Parents must contact their child's school and request that the bus take them to the Club.
There are over 50 proven programs to choose from in the Boys & Girls Club. During the summer we run a variety of recreational, sports and developmental programs including, but not limited to, field trips, baseball league, high-yield learning activities, reading programs, leisure games, gardening, job programs and outdoor recreation.
The Club Program includes, but is not limited to:

- Recreation & Arts Program
- SkillTech (computer skills program)
- SmartMoves (education and prevention)
